Revived... again..

Hey peeps,

I dunno people still drop by here anymore.. Not been updating for a super long time

Cause:
Laziness
Procrastination
and some planning to do..

I really thank God on how he made way to doubt my doubts on the Carnival on Sat. Because doubts been playing in my mind that i might screw everything up. And really scared that everything wouldn't turn up right and having weak responses from people..

Yes.. Im kinda fragile person.. not that im girl.. but just that sometimes anxiety kicks in from a certain level.. Guess thats one of my weaknesses.. sigh

But yeah, I really satisfied everythings turns up right and and goes well.. I really can see how God made me doubt my doubts and being optimistic.. Eventhough been stressful moments planning about it..

Guess that if things goes easy and smooth, then it wouldn't be God's work, eh?

Other stuff... hmm
Started my degree.. yes.. 1st year.. All grown up *pats self in the back* hahaha.. My holidays are finally over.. im kinda glad about it..
Dying of boredom..

The rest.. letmme see, dont think have any much update though.. still the same ol' me *grin*

got nothing to post about already.. update next time

A time of refreshing

Been feeling drained out this past few days.. Feeling dry spiritually.. and complaining why this, why that, all those nonsense..

Sometimes I just want to give up.. But heck, who like a quitter..

However, I thanks God how he fills me once again. Guess that I just needed it alot. Thx to the prayer as well (i guess u know who you are) last Sunday.. It came in the right time..

Then later went for PassionKL, it was awesome, felt the Holy Spirit throughout the conference. Chris Tomlin was good.
Louie Giglio shared how God is willing to accept us no matter how screwed up we were. And willing to surrender to God and made Him famous in my generation.

I thank God on His timing that I found refreshing and strength

Healer- Planetshakers/Hillsong

Been stuck on this song like for some time. Powerful message

Indescribable- Chris Tomlin

I guess thats all for now

Frustration

Yea.. Fuel prices are up.. Which bugged me the most..
You can't cater everyone by raising fuel.. It burdens the people MORE!!! Im from a medium-income family plus a student.. You tell me how to survive..

(chinese accent)
'Haihya, Use public transport lor...'
First thing 1st, I find that Malaysia public transportation need to be revamped, it is unreliable and takes more time that you drive a car. You tell me how to be productive like this.. It doesn't covered every location
This includes RapidKL, STAR, PUTRA and KTM.. You can see many news on complaints and rants from the public about all these things, and all goes unto deaf ears!
Dont want to compared to Singapore, coz our country is bigger.
How about Britain. Follow their example.

'Where can compare like that.. Their country more developed and more money'
I tell you this.. We can build stadiums and able to buy rockets why not this simple stuffs. These are necessties, we use it everyday!!

'Then use Hybrid Cars lo.. they safe fuel ma'
You tell me, which car is using Hybrid Technology in the market here, besides Honda Civic Hybrid, and its not cheap! It cost around RM150k for a unit. You think people from low and medium incomed would afford it? Even high-income society would prefer a high performance car with that price. Seriously, Hybrid Cars are not cheap because the technology is different.

'Haihyo, you complain alot la.. then use smaller car lo.. save fuel'
Yea, smaller cars are an advantage to save fuel, but compared to practicality? For me, besides college, I got other responsibilities that sometimes/most of the time small compact car contradicts the practicality wise. This wont be refers to most people, but people do own decent sized cars for the sake of practicality. Bigger car means bigger engines!

'Then use alternative fuel lo.. like biodiesel or NGV'
Firstly, how many petrol stations you see got NGV? isnt it most of the time full with taxi drivers. NGV saves cost but it slows down the performance or the car.

Secondly, alternative fuel.. Yes I agree here does have alternative fuels, we have biodiesel using oil palm. BUT everytime we see are only on labs, where researchers only shows the ability to process biodiesel then it stays stangnant there, never heard of any improvement out of it.

Overseas are in the plan of implementing biodiesel as the replacement of fuel. Biodiesel from processed used oil deep-fried fries and put it unto an unmodified diesel car it works.
biodiesel versus waste veg oil
The Picture shows biodiesel (left) from used vegetable oil (right)

We got so many fast food franchises, why not we use it to its fullest?
This can be implemented in a short period of time IF the Government willling invest into it

Alternative fuel have many options, hidrogen? Using water through electrolysis. Ethanol? Corn or any starch.

ps:This post is based on my opinion and suggestion.

Building a CPU

Hey.. Decided to do something out of the ordinary today.. (This is a super long post) Hope you dont bored out. :)

Ever wonder how to build a CPU from scratch? Its kinda easy actually.. u just need a phillip head screwdriver and alot of time.. Here it goes..
This is from my Pentium 3 CPU.

Photobucket
This is a the cpu casing or chassis.. the aluminium box that u press the on button

Photobucket
This is a mama-board/motherboard/circuit board/mobo/board's mother/mother of all boards. (Should celebrate Mother's Day for it, its a mother also). It controls all the processes in the computer. The black fan is the processor located. This suppose to be in museum already.

Photobucket
The 1st step is to plug the power switch to the mobo cpu pin (located nearby)

Photobucket
Then make sure the mobo is fitted rightly at the output that comes with the casing. It'll fit perfectly.

Photobucket
The screw it according to the hole that provided by the casing, or in some cases, u got to put the mobo stand 1st, before screwing it in. Mobo should not stick to the casing.. Coz it will create heat.

Photobucket
Thats your power supply unit. The one and only parts that has many wires like hair.

PhotobucketPhotobucket
PSU normally situated at the top of the casing, place it and screw it in.

Photobucket
PSU has only one biggest head among the other heads for power connection. Plug it in to the mobo, u can see the only biggest head in the mobo.. tats the one

Photobucket
The casing will provide some wiring for the power switch, and some LED indicator, take note.

Photobucket
Plug those at the mobo, situated bottom right. the motherboard got state which position for which plug head. Put it accordingly.

Photobucket
Thats a RAM, the one without horns and make no noise. 'An ideal pet indeed' hahaha...

Photobucket
Put the RAM into the slot that provided. Normally its at the right side of the processor. Position it 90 degrees, and put it in with a little force and lock it in place.

PhotobucketPhotobucket
Thats your CD ROM, the one feed it with flat doughnuts. Put it at the top bay, the widest bay that available in the casing. Screw it at the sides.

Photobucket
It will come with the grey coloured wire. Plug it at the back same goes with the power cable from the PSU (the coloured wires)
This step goes the same if u have more that one drives.

Photobucket
Plug the grey wire to the mobo For this time, its the same colour head with the mobo.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Looks familiar? Thats your hard disk drive(Computer's Stomach), the same step with the CD ROM, only place it in a smaller bay.
NOTE: the gray wire is a separate wire than the CD ROM drive.

Photobucket
Plug the hard disk wire at the same place, where the CD ROM grey wire located, just next to it.

PhotobucketPhotobucket
This is ancient stuff, skip this if you are not using this anymore.. YES its a floppy disk drive. What's floppy disk? next time..
It is still the same step like the putting in the Hard disk, only that this need a 'out room' for it (Just like a CD ROM) normally casing will provide.

Photobucket
Floppy has a smaller pin head for power, so use the smaller(smallest) pin head that the PSU provide.
And use different grey wire, in this case, the wire are slightly smaller that the previous two, but same step and place.

Photobucket
In case u didnt know, this is a graphics card/video card. (Tats a Nvidia GeForce 4)

PhotobucketPhotobucket
Place the Graphics Card to a slot that located slightly below the processor, the pic will guide. (This is an old AGP slot, but modern one are still at the same location). Slide it in from the side and screw it tightly. Reffer to the pic.

PhotobucketPhotobucket
Thats network card, its optional, because most ppl now uses ADSL modems. Network card mostly for dial-up. Fix the card unto a white slot below the graphics card slot. Its called PCI slot (Peripheral Component Interconnect). Its the same step how u place the graphics card in.

Photobucket
Thats sound card. Needless to say, same way and step with the Network Card.

And finally, screw back the side casing and  'Voila!'
Photobucket
A working CPU.

Thanks for the patience. But this post doesn't guarantee correct steps, its mainly the rough idea how to build a CPU/System Unit.
